In the past, two cottages had been combined to create a single, more spacious home. Our clients were captivated by its charm and beautiful riverside setting and quickly decided to make it their own.
We worked closely with local architects on a sensitive refurbishment, as well as with our clients to realise their vision for the interiors. One of their key priorities was the use of a serene, neutral palette throughout, creating a harmonious flow across the home’s higgledy-piggledy arrangement of rooms. This was enriched with bold artworks, antique furniture and layers of warm colour and texture in the rugs and furnishings.
Three new bathrooms were introduced, alongside bespoke joinery in the kitchen, breakfast room, sitting room and bedrooms, bringing much-needed functionality and modern comfort.
The result celebrates the home’s architectural character while creating a warm, relaxed and deeply personal living space.
